曾经被很多人喜爱和熟记的曾获1987年流行抒情与节奏蓝调榜三冠王单曲，全美最受欢迎的结婚进行曲的这首<Always>是由“Atlantic Starr(大西洋之星)”带来的。
Atlantic Starr这个黑人团体成立于上个世纪70年代末。一直到80年代末，这10年当中，他们都是美国最为顶尖的R&B组合。1976年，来自纽约的三个姓Lewis的黑人兄弟，以及由他们找来或雇来的的一些黑人音乐家组合成Atlantic Starr，其中包括女主唱Sharon Bryant，乐团人数最多到达9人，他们深受70年代非常走红的R&B团体，包括Earth, Wind & Fire，还有Lionel Richie领军的the Commodores的音乐风格影响，在乐团成立两年后和A&M唱片公司签约，并发行了他们第一张同名专辑《Atlantic Starr》，其中的单曲“Stand Up”使得他们小有名气，但真正使他们成为超级明星的专辑还是在1981年发行的《Radiance》以及其中的单曲“When Love Calls”，其走红的最主要因素就是来自主唱Sharon Bryant富有超凡魅力的嗓音，而后来的经典专辑《Yours Forever》以及单曲“Touch a Four Leaf Clover”再次证明的这一点。但以上的这些都还不足以让后人永远记得他们，一直到1987年，奇迹终于发生了，而奇迹的根源就来自当时发行的专辑《All In the Name of Love》里面的那一首“Always”. 这首单曲最终也成为了他们所有单曲当中成绩最好的，Billboard单曲榜第一名。这是他们离开了原来所属宝丽金旗下的A&M唱片公司而加入了华纳所发行的首张专辑，单曲“Always”一下子便成为了全美乃至全世界各大音乐电台首选播放的热门金曲，这是一首男女对唱的歌曲，在当时这样的一首情歌是非常能打动每一个人的心的，到了中国也是一样，甚至到后来成为了中国人学英语必听的英文歌曲，不过到现在虽然此曲仍经久不衰，但国内很少有人知道Atlantic Starr这个乐团，虽然他们已经进入了美国R&B音乐的名人堂，不过有了这首“Always”，他们的名字就会不断被人提起，也不会被人忘却。
