Lino's new album, Return To Avalon is a rich blend of acoustic, classical, jazz, Latin, and contemporary new age styles. It is a remarkable follow-up to Lino's debut release, "Satin Blue".

Upbeat and jazzy, another outstanding collection of original music in keeping with Lino's unique blending of classical, Latin, jazz, new age and folk styles. Lino's intense cover of Mozart's Divertimento #1 in D Major Allegro is a guitar chops show-stopper. A remarkable follow up to Satin Blue.

One moment his intricate finger work makes me think of some of the great nouveau flamenco players out there like Ottmar Liebert and Armik and Jesse Cook. Then I listen and realize he has more classical sensibilities than most and his music is rooted with that great sense of composition. Then I listen and hear riffs the likes of Craig Chaquico and Bryan Hughes and Peter White might offer -- and I see that William Aura of 3rd Force worked on a couple of tracks with Lino. What I like most is the great range and multiple flavors of this album

If you like Lino, you will love this CD. If you don't know who Lino is but you like Smooth Jazz and Guitar Jazz, you should give him try (a tune or CD). I first ran across Lino at the Ventura (California) Yacht Harbor where is was a guest performer. I liked the sound he was creating with his guitar and help with a synthesizer, but I liked his CDs (purchased at the performance) even better. His first two CDs, Satin Blue and Return to Avalon, were great, but Miami Jam took it a step further. If you like Smooth Jazz, I am guessing you will like his music. As an example, sample Classical Gas from his Miami Jam CD - you can listen to the sample on his web site, http://www.linomusic.com/. I am anxiously waiting for his next release - hope he hurries. ~Don S.

Lino is simply brilliant! His breathtaking compositions, his musical genius, songwriting and delivery touch the depths of the soul. I’m constantly mesmerized with every song. He’s truly amazing.
