White Stones 白石物语

Once upon a time, two children overheard their parents plan to abandon them in a forest, as they could not afford to feed them. But the children cleverly gathered small white stones, and on their long journey into the forest, they secretly dropped them onto the ground.

At nightfall, left alone, the moon illuminated the white stones, and the reflection became their guiding light. So the fairytale about Hansel and Gretel goes.

Each song on the album can be compared to a white stone. Listen and let them lead you into your own secret garden.

《白石》（英文名：White Stones）是挪威新世纪音乐组合神秘园（Secret Garden）于1997年发行的第二张录音室专辑，由宝丽金挪威公司制作、迈克尔厂牌发行。

全辑共14首曲目，延续乐队融合挪威与爱尔兰文化的风格，采用大编制乐队及拉丁节奏元素，基调较首张专辑更为轻快明亮。代表性作品包括《步伐》《希望礼赞》《归家》等。该专辑发行后销量迅速增长，至1997年末突破50万张，并在美国公告牌新世纪音乐榜停留一年 。

这张专辑的名称来源于一个童话故事：一对小兄妹被贫困的父母遗弃于森林之中，他们借着白石在月夜下的反光找到了家。作者寓意很明显，是希望通过这张专辑里美妙的音符，让在忙碌的现代生活中迷失自己的人们找到自我。我想我们至少可以在他们的音乐里暂时逃避那些现实生活中的烦恼与压力，进行一下精神的放松及享受。这张专辑在原有的风格里又加入了一些跳跃的拉丁节奏，显得比第一张轻快明亮了许多。
