介紹
師事貝多芬的奧地利鋼琴家與作曲家徹爾尼（Carl Czerny1791-1857），門下誕生李斯特、泰爾貝格（Sigismond Thalberg）等大師。他自成一系的鋼琴技巧練習曲，至今仍廣泛地流傳於世界各地，作為鋼琴演奏的基礎訓練之用。此外，他也是交響曲、協奏曲、室內樂與鋼琴曲等浪漫派初期樣式的開拓者。
