As with the other CDs of Trotignon/El Malek this is yet another class outing.
I've already recommended other CDs they're involved in as it seems the UK public
just aren't aware of what fine talent there is in France, Belgium, Germany etc.
This is a live recording from the Duc du Lombards (the Ronnie Scott's of Paris?)
with plenty of VERY strong solos from both leaders and several different compositional
styles - modern mainstream (ala : Chris Cheek, Eric Alexander, Mark Turner, Emmanuel
Cisi, Petro Tonolo .... et al). If you're enjoying Iain Ballamy's latest CD 'More Jazz',
