In 1963, Danny Weis co-founded the classic rock group Iron Butterfly in San Diego,
California. On Sweet Spot, his first solo album, Danny lays down his signature funky
guitar licks over original fusion, smooth jazz and R&B instrumental compositions.
Recorded with care at Phase One Studios in Toronto, Sweet Spot delivers a compelling,
dynamic musical listening experience. Sheldon T. Nunn at JazzReview.com enthused,
"Coming from a 60s-era stylized rocker, Danny Weis has stymied many of his contemporaries
with this augmented jazz release. In spite of any skepticism one may for a former rocker
