Gregg Karukas，来自于华盛顿特区，擅长爵士钢琴，而作为现代爵士乐手，爵士电钢
琴是他的看家法宝。他曾和很多当代知名爵士名家合作过， 如：Boney James,  Dave
Koz,Richard Elliot, Russ Freeman, Ronnie Laws, David Benoit, Rick Braun。从
70年代开始，他已经参与作曲，到了83年，他搬去洛山矶以后， 已经成为一个多产的
作曲家。从他开始成为一个独奏爵士钢琴家以后，他已经发行了9张专辑。

本张专辑《Nightshift》曲风清新凉爽，节奏明快清澈，Gregg Karukas运用了非常电
声化的钢琴，将一份恬美和静谧完美地传达出来，因此非常适合在夏季夜晚聆听， 并
能透过Gregg Karukas的音乐，让您感受到如阵阵海风袭来的丝丝凉意而以此来驱散夏
日的烦躁。特别值得一提的是，专辑中还邀请了Jonathan Butler这位来自南非的歌手
及吉他手，并共同演绎了一曲《Time Could Pass》，Jonathan Butler 的嗓音十分酷
似Stevie Wonder，只是多了一份青涩， 不过与Gregg Karukas的电钢琴的完美结合，
到是珠联壁合之感，也成为了专辑的亮眼之作。
