【爵士萨克斯】年轻的萨克斯手Randy Scott 2002年专辑《Words Unspoken》 (MP3 320K)
Words Unspoken Randy Scott (Artist) Audio CD (September 24, 2002) Number of Discs: 1 Label: Orpheus Records ASIN: B00006JJ4E

A producer, composer and musician proficient in all musical instruments, Randy Scott has performed and/or recorded with Michael Powell (writer and producer for Anita Baker, Patti Labelle, Randy Crawford and others), James Moss & Paul Allen (writers and producers for Boys II Men, Sisqo, Brittany Spears, N'Sync and others), Hiroshima, Nancy Wilson, Grover Washington, Jr., Fred Hammond, The Clark Sisters, Rance Allen, Dietrich Haddon, Men of Standard, Kirk Franklin, Norman Brown, Angela Bofield, Ronnie Laws, Marion Meadows, Najee, and many other artists on almost every major recording label.
As a three-time winner of nationally-televised, It's Showtime At The Apollo, winner of The Hennessy Jazz Search and protégé of his friend and mentor, the late Grover Washington, Jr., Randy Scott is ready to take his place among the music industry's elite.
During CBS Television's Ford Jazz Festival (the largest free concert on the northern continent), co-host and former Detroit Mayor Dennis Archer cited Randy's performances as the most memorable. In addition, Randy was requested by the White House to play for former U.S. President William J. Clinton, was awarded the NAACP 2001 Walter Francis White Service Award. Upon graduating from Michigan State University, Randy established his own music production company and recording studio, and continues to record, write, produce and teach music in the Detroit area, with recent production credits including Vickie Winans and Tim Bowman's upcoming CD.
Released in 1993, Randy began his career as a recording artist with his first album, entitled Randy Scott. This project, entirely written, produced and mixed by Randy, features the song Agape, used by the nationally televised program, The Color of Money as its theme song. The Randy Scott album was distributed nationally in a limited release.
Released in 1999, Future was a departure from Randy's traditional jazz roots. The album's combination of R&B hooks and hip-hop inspired beats, alongside Randy's trademark smooth melodies on both saxophone and EWI (electronic wind instrument), created a style unlike any of his peers.
Released in 2002, Randy developed his third project, Words Unspoken. This album shows his return to his jazz roots, through its smooth and soulful tracks. Songs from the album have been featured on radio programs across the country, with radio single Quicksand getting attention on Smooth Jazz.
