演唱者 丹佛格柏 介紹

1979 年以一首 "Longer" 而引起全球歌迷注目的作曲家、吉他手兼歌手 Dan Fogelberg丹佛格柏, 1951 年 8 月 13 日生於伊利諾州 (Illinois) 的 Peoria。 十四歲開始學習鋼琴, 後來又進一步學習吉他和作曲, 爲以後往歌壇發展做準備。爲了往歌唱圈發展, Fogelberg 於 1971 年毅然放棄即將到手的伊利諾大學藝術系學士學位, 開始他的歌唱事業, 在民謠界闖出自己的一片天空後,移居加州, 並追隨 Van Morrison 到各地參加巡迴演唱會。而引起名製作人 Norbert Putnam 的注意, 1973 年與哥倫比亞唱片公司簽約, 發行的第一張專輯 "Home Free" 成績並不理想。隨後轉加入 Epic 唱片公司，第二張專輯 "Souvenirs" 於 1975 年推出後, 佳評如潮, 不但獲得樂評家的讚賞, 也獲得商業上的成功, 得到專輯排行第十七名。 單曲 "Part Of The Pain" 得到第三十一名, Dan Fogelberg擠身進入美國知名作曲家兼歌手的行列。
