麦可从6岁接触钢琴开始，即立志以创作为其音乐生涯的职志。从高中时期他即是全校的风云人物，更在生长的密西根小镇中成了众所周知的钢琴家。如今以不到30岁的年纪，即出版了6张专辑，并参与过数百场的全美音乐节演出，许多如电影、电视、游戏软体、互动多媒体等各领域制作人，在接触过他的音乐後，纷纷探询合作机会，让他成了炙手可热的跨媒体音乐制作人。
