A friend of mine in Sofia (thanks Katerina!) got me to listen to Salome, and I was hooked as soon as I heard it. I liked the songs so much, I ordered the CD from Amazon. Kalin’s voice is deeper than Brendan’s was, but works well as a counterpoint for Denitza. Denitza sounds like Lisa Gerrard’s sister. There are almost no words in these songs, but they seem spiritual without being religious. In my opinion, that is a good thing. Monsalvato is my favorite, but I like them all.
