如果是老乐迷一定会发现，麦可·琼斯“琴随意走”的崭新功力，与那二十年来实累积的深邃内涵，在这张专辑中果真越陈越香。在总长达近68分钟的演奏里，麦可·琼斯将回忆的箭射向童年时段，每个音阶皆陶自他情感最深的剖面，不但每一首曲子的时间偏长，落键也较过去的柔软轻盈，仿佛是想向他的乐迷重新呈现过去从不曾被听见的真性情。特别是完全破局的曲式安排，忠实于大师奔放意的心灵行迹，精彩繁复且不失结构性，充满立体多层次的超现实意象，令人百题不腻。建议听者暂时放下“新世纪钢琴”的狭隘框见，倒是去品味一个大师丝丝入扣的丰沛琴艺，当碰到这样的深度好片·，就值得你如此掏心鉴赏。

Michael Jones（麦可·琼斯）1942年生于加拿大的安大略省，是一位多才多艺的独具人文气质的钢琴家。他的钢琴总是能和大自然的美景联系起来，擅于用音乐来叙事，将一个个静态的自然景观生活化，创作出诗意的钢琴旋律。

2022年1月19日去世的钢琴师与作曲家——麦可·琼斯，堪称是现代音乐史的传奇，同时也是相当重要的影响人物。他的第一张专辑《Pianoscapes》发行于1984年，也是他在Narada唱片公司首发专辑。而从那时开始，他至今已累积十数张畅销经典名盘。
