多久没抬头看看天空的云朵呢？
像一幅幅抽象画在湛蓝的天空中咨意挥洒
飘来了好大一朵云  上头是不是真的有一座天空之城呢？
追著云跑  或许它会带我们到一个神秘的世外桃源…



许世杰，原本是高雄三民乡的护溪管理员，他尽心尽力地守护著这片美丽的山林，孵育著满山满谷的萤火虫，把心中的感动及对这片山水的爱，化成音符与大家分享！



* 制作缘起：

去年的春天，与三五好友到高雄县三民乡踏青，突然听到有高亢流畅的歌声伴著纯朴热闹的吉他声在山谷间迴盪，于是寻声来到护溪寮，他（许世杰）正陶醉于自弹、自创及自唱的歌声中，竟不知我们的到来，等他唱够了，我们才现身，并要求他再来一次，他也爽快的答应了。

于是就用随身录大自然声音的录音机，将他创作的词、曲与音域节奏都录了下来，徵得他的同意后，回来编曲并製作成Demo带寄给他，请他安排时间进录音室录唱，他高兴莫名，带著一贯腼腆的笑容点著头，并约好练习完就会来电连繫。

不巧，八八水灾来搅局，三民乡成了重灾区，护溪寮也不复在，他也失联了，只得改以器乐演奏，尽可能保留其原有粗旷单纯的原民风味，但愿哪天因缘成熟，世杰能来完成演唱版，衷心期盼！

99年5月

Shih-Chieh Hsu was the forest administrator in Sanmin Township, Kaohsiung County.He threw himself into protecting our beautiful forest, streams and breeding the firefly in the mountain.He converted the loving of the mountain into music then shared to us.

When I went spring outing with friends in Sanmin township, Kaoshiung county last year, I was appealed by a resounding, smooth song that was accompanied by sheer, jolly guitar. The song echoed amid hill valleys. I followed the song to Huxi Liao and found him (Hsu Shih-Chieh) indulging in the melody wrote, played and sung all by himself. He didn’t even notice our arrival. We didn’t present ourselves until he finished his performance. He was glad to say yes when we asked him to play it again.

Then we recorded, with the recorder we brought along to record the sound of nature, the lyrics, tune, range and beats that he composed. We requested his approval to make them into a demo tape which would be sent to him, and we invited him to our studio to come by our studio to make the recording. He was overjoyed, nodding his head with his usual shy smiles, and promised that he would call us to arrange studio recording after he finishes his practice. 

Unfortunately, our plan was ruined by Flood 88, because of which Sanmin township was the worst hit and we lost contact with him. We had to alter the song and performed it with only instruments, hoping to keep the wildness and innocence of the aborigines alive. It’s our wish that, someday, we would be in luck with destiny and Shih-Chieh would arrive to finish his vocal in our studio – if only it could come true!
