“Amanda Lear has produced some of the most hilarious disco tracks of the last 20 years, and this is a real return to form. The music is typical Euro-cheese, and La Lear delivers the vocals in such a world-weary tone that it sounds, sometimes, as if she couldn't even be bothered to turn up at the studio and just phoned her performance in from an airport waiting loung. Don't let this put you off! It's weirdly effective. Some of the songs are low-camp gay disco, lyrics about go-go boys & muscle queens; others strive for seriousness. There's even a love song to Amanda's mentor, Salvador Dali. All this and a marvellous self-portrait on the cover. Highly recommended.        ”
