诗人歌手--Sting==《A Thousand Years》

原名Gordon Sumner

1951年10月2日出生于英格兰的沃尔森德，  或许当Sting出生的时候，谁也不会想到在一个英国送奶工的儿子优美的声音里，居然生长着一颗全英国最为高贵的灵魂。人们都说Sting被当今乐坛冠以诗人歌手的美名相当程度上得益于他那独一无二的嗓音，对于此，我不敢苟同,相反，我认为应该得益于其充满睿智与思考的歌词。对于真正了解Sting的乐迷来说，他的每首歌词，都是值得让我们咀嚼一辈子的诗。

《A Thousand Years》 选自Sting 《Brand New day》，STING的这首歌是绝佳的音效测试曲，用它来检验你的音箱效果，当然没问题。开始前十秒的音效：第1，6，10秒3声遥远的雷声由远及近，第2秒右前方的类似水车的音效，第5秒的风声和第8秒的直升机由隐约可闻的左后方移向左前方，第10秒右前方的海浪声，然后才是前奏。这首歌的低音潜得很深，低频可能低于45Hz，第11到37秒是一段连续的低音和鼓点伴随着各种效果声，37秒以后伴奏的BASS低音下潜很深，非常温暖，用于测试低频非常好，一般的喇叭可能是听不到的了。注意，2分10秒的时候在左前方大概10点的位置比耳朵稍高的方位有一声清脆的三角铁，这时候旋律正在进行，高频表现不好的喇叭恐怕很难听到。
