来自英国的Theoretical Girl，去年因一曲清新不插电的The Boy I Left Behind在YouTube上小红了一把。从第一张单曲It's all too much以来，Theoretical Girl一直有著酷酷电子庞克风格，但好些旋律滑顺的歌曲，却是相当有已解散的The Organ之风，像是把guitar拿来当organ弹，节奏则像是70年代德国电子与雷鬼乐相炸，然后慢慢磨散出小粒子，在真空状态下缓缓行进著……

    Theoretical Girl (Amy Turnnidge) is a female solo artist from Southend on Sea signed to the Memphis Industries record label. Her sound could be described as chamber pop. After years of independent EP releases, her debut Divided will be released on the 17th of August via Memphis Industries. The date is a little far way, but Amy Turnnidge just released her first single 'Rivals' in order to prepare you. And the song, as usual, is lovely, a frenetic ballad softly interpreted.
