When I met Marion Meadows back in 1994, we were 'stuck' on an Island in May (Sounds real horrible, huh?) when we were playing on Norman Connors. That was the beginning of a great working relationship and friendship. He worked on my 1992 CD, "Reflections Of Love", 1996 "City Sketches", 1997 "Cool Breeze" and 2000 "Bobbaldwin.com" CD's. I also co-produced the above pictured CD titles, including the amazing, "Come Back To Me", which featured Will Downing. That song kept both Marion and Will all summer long in 1993.
We also had the pleasure of taking part of a South African exchange earlier this year where we both taught the musicians our music and also conducted seminars in an effort to teach the South African community the dynamics of the music business from an American Perspective. Yet, another memorable event with Meadows.
One of the Smoothest Jazz Saxophonists around.....Marion Meadows has recently signed with a West Coast Recording Compan after a brief stint with Discovery Records in Los Angeles. Meadows looks to release his 7th and latest effort sometime in 4th Quarter, 2000, and as always, will bring fresh new ideas to his Jazz and R&B audience.
