Medwyn's eagerly anticipated release of AMUN RA and his first solo release
of 2008. We have had more enquiries and excitement for this release than any
other before it. Every now and then Medwyn has that amazing ability to suddenly
produce something exceptional, daringly original, and different to any path he's
taken before. This is such an album. The buzz behind the scenes at MG Music is
that this could launch a whole further sequels. Time will tell. The album is full
of original authentic instruments from Egypt and many new sounds that Medwyn has
never used before. It reminds us of when he discovered his south American style
with Medicine Woman or the native American style with Great Spirit, his Celtic
style with the Druid trilogy and King Arthur. They became landmarks in his remarkable
career. This is an event to be excited about and the prediction of the MG Music staff
is that it will be one the main releases of the year.
