—  Forget the “brand name” on this outing, it’s different in many ways to TB and TB2. For a start, there’s a song on it “Man in the rain”, delightfully sung by Cara from Polar Star. Her voice is very similar to Maggie Reilly, so the track sounds similar to “To France” and “Moonlight shadow”.
    While there’s a continuity to the album which you would expect from Oldfield, the tracks are individual pieces of music in their own right. The themes are strong, with the climactic “Far above the clouds” providing a superb ending.
    It took me a while to appreciate this album. In many ways the marketing ploy of using the TB name works against it, as it offers misleading expectations and invites unnecessary comparisons, but the album is one of Oldfield’s best recordings.
