Paul Simon(1941年10月13日)，美國著名流行音樂歌手，Simon & Garfunkel二重唱團體的一員。

Paul Simon 1941年出生於紐澤西的一個猶太家庭，高中時期同Art Garfunkel結為好友，兩人經常同台演出。

1957年，他們合作的"Hey, Schoolgirl"一曲，進入了美國流行音樂排行榜，當時，他們不過尚在高中。

高中畢業之後，Paul Simon進入皇后大學就讀，並獲得英語文學學士學位，但他的理想還是在詞曲創作上。

由於Garfunkel當時就讀於不遠的哥倫比亞大學，所以兩人仍然時有合作。不過Simon仍然更為喜愛他在這段時間內單獨創作的歌曲。

1964年，Colombia唱片公司決定為Simon 和 Garfunkel提供一份合同，並簡單的為他們題了個名字：「Simon & Garfunkel」。

日後Simon曾打趣說這是兩個猶太名字同時出現在流行樂壇的第一次。兩人的第一張唱片並不能算十分成功，但是其中的一首"Sounds Of Silence " (寂靜之聲)，在經過使用電吉他、低音鼓等重新配器包裝之後，一舉登上了Billboard流行音樂榜的首名。

70年代之後Simon單飛 這張專輯是Paul Simon單飛之後發行的第二張個人專輯1973年發行。專輯登上了Billboard排行榜的第2位，在英國專輯榜也排到第4位。

Paul Simon開始嘗試民謠之外的音樂類型，例如Soul唱法的Loves Me Like A Rock和爵士味道的Take Me to the Mardi Gras。他的創新精神，讓他得以闖出自己的一片音樂天地。
