“德州闪电”是一个来自德国汉堡的乡村音乐五人组合，其音乐融合乡村和流行，既具有乡村音乐巨星Patsy Cline、Loretta Lynn、Johnny Cash和Tammy Wynette的味道，又似乎能看到老牌流行乐代表（如ABBA、Nancy Sinatra、Linda Ronstadt、Madonna、Michael Jackson和Beatles）的影子，略带乡村音乐俏皮的演绎，使他们的乐风怀旧且新潮。乐队成员包括鼓手兼演唱Olli Dittrich、演唱兼吉它Jon Flemming Olsen、电子吉它兼班卓琴Markus Schmidt、贝司兼演唱Uwe Frenzel和演唱兼尤克里里琴Jane Comerford。

2006年3月9日，“德州闪电”在“欧洲电视网2006年度歌曲大赛”德国站比赛中胜出，并代表德国参加了同年5月20日在希腊雅典举行的决赛。参赛歌曲是Jane Comerford创作的“No No Never”。他们是参赛的唯一一个乡村音乐组合。最终这首歌名列所有参赛歌曲的第15名，这个名次超过他们的预期。

“No No Never”作为单曲在德国、奥地利和瑞士发行，并获得白金销量。位居德国“Media Control”榜第1名，奥地利单曲榜第4名，瑞士单曲榜第6名。
