原名René Baumann 的DJ Bobo
曾于1988年赢得德国“年度最佳DJ大赏”，
但他却是在成为流行舞曲歌手，并亲自担纲个人专辑的作曲、
编曲与制作之后，才逐渐在家乡－－瑞士走红。
92年底发表的“Somebody Dance With Me”是他扬名欧陆的首支单曲，
当时此曲不仅名列瑞士榜冠军、进占欧洲数国的排行前十名，
稍后推出的《Dance With Me》专辑，
更是令他的知名度迅速拓展至拉丁美洲
与亚、澳地区。随后，他陆续以“Keep On Dancing”、
“Everybody”、“Let The Dream Come True”、“Love Is All Around”、
“There Is A Party”、“Love Is The Price”…
等金单曲叱吒欧洲与拉丁美洲乐坛，
期间还数度荣膺世界音乐奖“瑞士最畅销歌手”的头衔，
说他是瑞士乐坛的天王巨星实不为过。
