    西方乐坛上已经不只存在一个叫做James Morrison的艺人了，此James Morrison非彼James Morrison，既不是The Doors乐队的主唱也不是澳大利亚的那个爵士乐手，音乐风格上也与他们大相径庭，他是英国的一位新人，被很多人认为是当今英国乐坛最有潜力的创作型男歌手之一，今年刚刚21岁。
　　
　　出生于英国中部城市Rugby的James Morrison虽然只有21岁，但他的声音听上去却显得十分老成，平滑中带有一丝嘶哑，天生一副唱Soul的嗓子。他的第一支单曲You Give Me Something发行后就登上了UK Top 40的第27位，并且赢得了好评。

　　从曲风上说，James Morrison的音乐更接近Soul，但是歌曲中又能听出几分Rock元素。环球唱片在今年（2007）引进了这张专辑—《Undiscovered有待发现》。连陈奕迅也被他这张专辑征服，对此碟赞不绝口，并为此专辑献言：“一位值得期待的实力派新男声，充满来自灵魂的好嗓音，绝对是今年必备收藏的首选CD”。由此可见James Morrison的巨大声音魅力。

    不仅如此，这张专辑早已硕果累累，在今年的全英音乐奖中，James Morrison成功获得2007英国最佳男艺人奖。专辑中的首发单曲“You Give Me Something”更是连夺iTunes数位下载与电台播发榜No.1，创造了洗车工人翻身创作金童的真实传奇，一口气拿下英国金榜双周冠军。著名的时代杂志给予了四颗星的推荐，形容他是“非比寻常的优秀新人…他的歌声唱出了80岁黑人蓝调歌手的灵魂。 （介绍编辑自网络）
