All the Seasons of George Winston," is an intelligently selected anthology of the highlights of his many studio albums. If it has a drawback, it is that some of the songs are shortened edits of much longer songs from the original albums. The most notable example of this is on "Colors/Dance," originally from the album "Autumn," that is cut down from over ten minutes to about three and a half. Nevertheless, this album is a good place for someone just starting to get into George Winston’s music to start. He plays the piano like no other working musician today. Once it has whetted your appetite, you are sure to want to go for more of his original albums. For that I would recommend "Autumn" and "Summer" most highly.
