這是美國名導羅勃阿特曼的作品「納許維爾」中的主題曲，納許維爾被喻為"美國鄉村音樂之都"，故全曲洋溢著濃濃的鄉村民謠的風味。

演唱者凱斯卡拉定知名度不高，而且似乎只有這首歌曲流傳於世，不過他有位知名度頗高的哥哥大衛卡拉定。當年武打明星李小龍風靡全球的時候，美國也瀰漫著一股中國功夫熱，有部名為「功夫」的電視影集在當時大受歡迎，台灣也曾播映過，劇中的男主角就是凱斯卡拉定的哥哥──大衛卡拉定。
