本光盘由河南博物院副院长、河南博物院华夏古乐艺术团团长李宏策划，河南省音乐家协会副主席、河南省民族管弦乐学会会长、河南省艺术研究院院长方可杰编导，河南博物院华夏古乐艺术团演唱。

本光盘精选《诗经·周南·关雎》、《诗经·小雅·鹤鸣》、《凤求凰》、《春夜别友人》、《子夜吴歌·秋歌》、《渔翁调》、《鬲溪梅令》、《阳关唱别》等8首中国古典诗词，以中国古老的音乐文物，自然天成的吟唱风格演绎出华夏古典诗词的纯美意境，使全世界更多的人们领略到中华古乐的辉煌与灿烂。
