The Knack乐队组建于第一代硬核朋克乐队崛起的1978年洛杉矶,但是一个标准的power-pop/new wave乐队,秉承溶入了60年代的硬摇滚先驱the Who, the Kinks的柔和风格.1979年乐队发行了广受好评的单曲<My Sharona>,一度占据了排行榜首位,也打入年度总排行top10,后来乐队由于内部矛盾而解散，进入90年代后,乐队数次复合,并录制了数张作品,但再也无法获得当初的影响力。这首<My Sharona>，相信给每一位经历80`动感岁月的人们留下过无数美好的回忆。
