---------------------------------------------------------------------- “三犬之夜”成立于1968年...... 摇滚乐团的团名， 经常会挖空心思的标新立异， 来吸引大家的注意。 很多人都曾经感到疑惑， 这“三犬之夜”究竟是什么意思。 原来，这是来自澳洲土著的习俗。 没有房舍、更没有取暖设备的澳洲原住民， 过去在寒冷的夜里，常会抱一只狗取暖。 有时候一只不够，就得抱两只。 而在某些特别冷的天气，需要抱三只狗才足够的夜晚， 就是他们所谓的“三犬之夜”了。 而由于团名的关系，加上这个团体是以三位歌手为主， 经常让人以为他们是一支三重唱的团体， 事实上，他们的团员总共有七个人， 黑人白人都有，一定要说的话， 也只能说他们是一支有三位歌手和四名专属乐队的合唱团。 在摇滚音乐史上， 绝大多数受到喜爱的合唱团都具有创作的能力， 但是“三犬之夜”（Three Dog Night） 却是少数的例外。 发行于1970年春天的 “Mama Told Me (Not to Come)”， 是阮迪纽曼的作品。 唱片上市之后， 很快的就得到了歌迷们的喜爱。 1970年五月二十三日， 这首歌第一次进榜， 七个星期后，就在七月十一日登上榜首， 成为他们的第一首冠军曲， 并且蝉联两个礼拜。后来他们又陆续以 “Joy to the World”和“Black and White”夺得冠军， 可惜的是， 尽管他们拥有十二张金专辑， 却无法成为“长寿”的团体。 1975年，他们宣告解散， 虽然在80年代中期复合， 歌坛却早已不是他们的天下了。 (资料源于网络) ---------------------------------------------------------------Three Dog Night - Black & White WMA-256K下载链接需登陆后回复可见- words by David Arkin, music by Earl Robinson, c 1956The ink is black, the page is white
