个人资料：
出生于乔治亚州Macon,在俄亥俄州辛辛那提长大的Randy Crawford从教堂唱诗班的练唱中培养出对歌唱的兴趣，15岁的时候，在父亲的陪伴下，开始游走欧美俱乐部作巡回演出，20岁发表处女单曲“If You Say The Word”。隔年，她的精湛歌艺就得到爵士乐坛传奇人物George Benson和Quincy Jones的赏识，担纲暖场演唱。

76年首张专辑《Everything Must Change》登场，78年又因为爵士名团Crusaders的Top40畅销曲“Street Life”客座主唱一举打响名气，并与Crusaders巡回欧洲开唱，80年被小日本东京音乐祭选为最杰出的演唱者，81、83年专辑《Secret Combination》、《Nightline》加进一些Funk的节奏，喜欢四处演唱的她更是蒙特罗、北海、伊斯坦堡等地爵士乐祭的常客，与Ray Charles、Joe Sample、Al Jarreau等才气洋溢的艺人、乐手分享歌唱心情。

热心公益的她也曾出席联合国于克罗埃西亚所举行的慈善义唱，为南非自由斗士曼德拉慈善义唱，90年与意大利巨星Zucchero联袂前往克里姆林宫开唱，91年还应罗马教皇约翰保罗二世之邀，成为梵蒂冈圣诞音乐会的演唱嘉宾，丰富的现场演唱经验还包括联合国儿童基金会悼念一代女伶奥黛莉赫本的演唱会，以及与伦敦交响管弦乐团的同台合作。经过短暂的休息，95年重新以金唱片专辑《Naked  And True》出击，98年专辑《Every Kind Of Mood Randy, Randi, Randee》则是与Prince、U2专辑制作人Mousse T.精心雕琢的情韻上选之作，甚至挑战了Massive Attack的歌曲“Hymn Of The Big Wheel”。
