２０１０年的欧洲音乐电视奖颁奖典礼将于今年１１月７日在西班牙首都马德里举行。这将是欧洲音乐电视奖第二次在西班牙颁发，２００２年这项大奖曾在西班牙巴塞罗那颁发。
欧洲音乐电视奖主办方在一份声明中说，颁奖礼之所以选在马德里举办，一方面是因为马德里拥有“充满活力和繁荣兴盛的音乐表演场地”，另一方面，今年正值ＭＴＶ音乐电视网在西班牙开展业务１０周年。
今年的欧洲音乐电视奖颁奖典礼将在马德里“魔力盒”网球中心、即曼萨纳雷斯公园网球中心举行，该中心去年４月落成，耗资１．６亿欧元，其主体育场可容纳１．２５万名观众。
有欧洲“格莱美奖”之称的欧洲音乐电视奖始于１９９４年，每年在欧洲不同城市举行颁奖典礼。先由欧洲音乐电视网选出的评委会确定候选名单，再由观众通过网络或手机短信投票产生最终获奖者和获奖作品。
欧洲音乐电视奖的颁奖礼通过ＭＴＶ的欧洲音乐电视网和全球音乐电视网直播，估计今年将吸引全球６亿人观看。去年的欧洲音乐电视奖颁奖典礼在德国柏林举行。近年来意大利罗马、葡萄牙里斯本、丹麦哥本哈根、英国伦敦和利物浦等著名城市都举办过这项盛事。

Opatija, Croatia - Feminnem have beaten 15 other hopefuls and will represent Croatia with the song Lako Je Sve in the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest in Oslo. This is the second time the girl group will perform in Europe's Favourite TV show having represented Bosnia & Herzegovina in 2005.
Tonights show was held at the Crystal Hall of the Kvarner hotel in the seaside resort of Opatija. The hosts of the show were Duško Čurlić, Mirko Fodor and Mila Horvat. Reports from backstage were provided by Ida Prester and Iva Šulentić. The show was streamed live right here on Eurovision.tv.
