It is amazing how "cool" this album makes you feel as you listen to it. You can picture, perfectly, the gently flowing ice, the songbirds, the whales...feel the slight and cool wind upon your face...and the heat of a midnight sun. What a vacation to the upper regions of the world! I had never been to Alaska, but this is how I imagine it would be. There’s a really soft, crystalline ambience to all of it as you gaze up to the breathtaking Arctic wilderness.
Another great point to make in favor of this piece of artwork and creativity is the track which features the sound of a glacier as it sheds part of its ice into a bitterly cold bay--it sounds like thunder! It penetrates and cleanses you in a very nice way...leaving you feeling as if...as if you had been there, safely watching from a hilltop.
Far from trite, this album is a wonderful creation...a surefire listening experience. You will love the ambience, the peace, the coolness, and breathtaking view of a part of the world that is seldom seen as life-bearing...or enchanting. In short; it will enlighten you.
