甲壳虫乐队又名“披头士”（Beatles），Beat在英文中是“搏击跳动”的意思。
甲壳虫乐队是1960年由约翰·列侬、保罗·卡麦锡、乔治·哈里森、林里·斯达尔组
成，他们四个人中由列农担任演唱和节奏吉它手，麦卡锡担任演唱和低音吉它手，哈
里森为主奏吉它手，斯达尔任架子鼓手。1962年9月乐队发行了第一张唱片，1964年第
一季度，乐队的唱片销量高达美国唱片总销量的60%，该年的首次访美成为美国最轰动
的事件。甲壳虫乐队以其反上流社会，反正统艺术的风格，锋利而快捷敢于接触社会

Hey Jude这首歌是由甲壳虫乐队的成员保罗·麦卡特尼创作的，当时另一位成员
约翰·列侬第一次离婚，其儿子朱利安闷闷不乐，保罗·麦卡特尼通过这首歌鼓
励朱利安勇敢面对现实。歌中头一句是保罗在约翰·列侬离婚后，安慰朱利安时
说过的话。Hey Jude原本被收录进了同名专辑The Beatles，后来又作为单曲发行
